Katrina M. Sosa was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in 2011 and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2012. Ms. Sosa earned her Juris Doctor from The University of North Carolina School of Law, where she received Dean's List Recognition. As a law student, she was on the Executive Board for the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association, and served as a translator for the Latino Legal Initiative, a pro bono housing clinic in Durham, North Carolina. Ms. Sosa also completed an externship at the University of North Carolina's Office of the University Counsel.
Ms. Sosa attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate and graduate studies, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship.
A Miami-native, Ms. Sosa is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is a member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division and Cuban-American Bar Association. Ms. Sosa is also a member of the Junior League of Miami, which has promoted volunteerism and community improvement throughout Miami-Dade County since 1926.
